What is Koi-Koi?

Koi-Koi is a traditional Japanese card game played with Hanafuda (flower cards). Two players match cards by month, capture sets called yaku, and choose to bank points or risk calling "Koi-Koi" for higher scores.

How do I play?

Play a card from your hand to match one on the table (same month), or add it to the table. Then draw a card and match or add it. When you form a yaku, you can stop to keep your points or call "Koi-Koi" to continue for more.

Click "Private Room", create a room, and choose how many rounds. Share the room code or link with your friend. They join with the code — no account required.

What are yaku?
