Story
What it is
Hanafuda Legends is a free online Koi-Koi game. Play in the browser or on the Android app; iOS is in review. Eleven languages, ranked seasons, and every deck earnable by playing — nothing behind a paywall.
Why I built it
Hanafuda과의 나의 여정은 2년 전 Round the World in Eighty Games라는 책을 읽으면서 시작되었습니다. 나는 옛날 일본 군인들 사이에서 인기를 끌었던 것부터 Nintendo이 원래 Hanafuda 제조업체로 시작했다는 사실까지 그 역사에 즉시 매료되었습니다!
온라인에서 수많은 버전을 플레이한 후, 나는 최고의 디지털 Koi-Koi 경험이 어떤 모습과 느낌이어야 하는지에 대한 내 비전을 반영하기 위해 Hanafuda Legends을 만들기로 결정했습니다. 이 프로젝트는 사랑의 노동이며, 제가 만들게 된 것만큼 여러분도 플레이하는 데 큰 기쁨을 가져다주기를 바랍니다.
What's different
- No signup required to play — ranked, private rooms, vs computer and the tutorial all work without an account.
- 24 artist decks in the gallery, each credited to the people who made them.
- Nintendo-standard Koi-Koi rules with house-rule options (Teshi / Kuttsuki and koi-koi variants).
- Ranked seasons with a physical hanafuda deck as the prize for the season's top player.
