Deck description

A reimagining of the long discontinued Hokkaido hanafuda pattern, without the metallic overprints and slightly modified for Koi-koi gameplay purposes. The beautifully detailed woodblock pattern features Japanese poems on the Chaff cards, as well as the closed umbrella on the Rain Man card and the lack of a lightning storm motif on the Willow Chaff, all of which were typical of old "Musashino" hanafuda designs from the late 1700's.
