Deck description

The deck that was sold in limited quantities by Richert Karuta in the Tokyo Game Market in 2023 is now available in Hanafuda Legends! Enjoy the familiar designs of the hanafuda animals in a cute, super-deformed style. Even Ono no Michikaze has been drawn with a giant head! The ribbons are super-deformed as well, with the poetry ribbons now displaying "red" in Japanese, and the blue ribbons displaying "blue" in Japanese. Hidden Lore Grass Ribbons: Three of the non-poetry red ribbons—the wisteria ribbon, the iris ribbon, and the bush clover ribbon—are labeled with "grass" in Japanese. Together, these are called "Grass Ribbons", and this is used as a Yaku in certain hanafuda games.
